I am an amateur photographer shooting both digital and film.
Interests being mainly Bird Photography/Wildlife and Landscapes.
I also like to photograph Aircraft and have always had an interest in Infrared Photography.
I still use a conventional darkroom developing both B&W, infrared and colour film by hand. I find this far more interesting and exciting than digital. I believe you learn far more about photography with film, especially large format with its traditional methods!
Although digital is great for bird/wildlife photography as you can shoot hundreds of images and increase your chances of getting that great shot, plus it is very
convenient, until you get back and find your sensor was covered in dust!
Currently using various cameras including a Ebony SW45 (large
format camera), Canon 1ds Mark II,
Canon 1dMark III, Canon 1v , Canon 400d (which has been converted to infrared
by Advanced Camera Services), Holga and a Canon G10. Plus various lenses,
tripods, heads etc.
This website is new so not too much to look at at present, but hopefully over time things should improve.
As mentioned elsewhere your feedback would be of great interest!
Thanks for looking!
